Walking Group

Malvern Baptist Church Walking Group meets weekly for a walk of around 2 hours in the splendid local countryside.  The difficulty of the walking ranges from easy to moderate, which we will try to advertise in advance.  Our group is open to all and we welcome new members.  Contact Jean Macdonald on 07941 623867 if you want to join us

The next church walk will be on Tuesday 22nd October and will start at 9.30am at Hospital Road in Powick for a gentle and short walk led by Martin with refreshments at The Crown afterwards. Please let Jean know if you are coming on 07941 623867. 

Future dates:   Fri 1 Nov, Fri 8 Nov, Tues 12 Nov, Fri 22 Nov, Tue 26 Nov, Fri 6 Dec, Tues 10 Dec, Tue 17, Fri 3 Jan (Dave to lead), Fri 10 Jan (walk and meal at The Chase - TBC), Tue 14 Jan, Tue 21 Jan, Fri 31 Jan.

Occasionally, the group will tackle longer walks. For example, we have walked the Worcestershire Way and the Peak Pilgrimage route over 4 days.

This year we set ourselves the challenge of walking (bit by bit) the Three Choirs Way, 100 miles between Gloucester, Hereford and Worcester Cathedrals which we finished on Friday 12th July.
