Social Events
We hold regular social events. In the past these have included : Murder Mystery nights , quiz nights, barbecues, fellowship meals, cycle rides . They usually involve food in some form!

Dear all, we invite you to a French-themed evening with food and boules, 7pm Weds 5th August. This will take place chez nous, 6 Barrett Rise Malvern WR14 2UJ. Food is being organised but please bring a drink, and if you can bring a collapsible chair that would be helpful. Car parking can be tight at top of Barrett Rise but there is a car park at the bottom.
Please sign the list at the back of the church (or let Dave & Sue know) so we can cater for the correct number. Bien cordialement
- Wed 12th Aug 5:30pm to 8:00pm - All Age BB/GA and MBC Eclipse Party (Angela Noble) at 17 Werstan Close. On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, the UK will experience a deep partial solar eclipse, with the Moon obscuring between 90% to 93% of the Sun. This will be the most significant solar eclipse visible from the British Isles since the total eclipse of 1999. For London & Cardiff: Begins at 18:17 BST, peak at 19:13 BST (~91% to 93% coverage). It finishes at 8:06pm.
We have checked and we have a clear enough view west from our front grass, to see this eclipse. We will have some telescopes with solar filters for viewing, there will be a live stream from the royal observatory, we'll have a go at pinhole projection and I will buy some solar eclipse glasses.
I will also put some baking potatoes in the oven and provide a variety of toppings. Volunteers for puddings appreciated. Please bring something to drink.
This event will be open to BBGA families and I intend to invite the rest of the Close as well.
Kind regards, Ange
- Wed 19th Aug 6:30pm - Barbecue at Broadcroft c/o David and Lindsey. Please sign-up if you are coming. We will provide the meat, but if you can offer to bring pudding / cake please let us know. Please bring your own drinks.
