Junior Church

At Malvern Baptist Church, everyone attends the beginning of the service each Sunday and then children and young people may leave to attend Junior Church classes all run by DBS checked teachers.  Our aim in each class is to foster enjoyment in learning about the Bible’s teachings and to show how these are relevant to us today. 

We share concerns and we have a time of prayer as well as reading the Bible story and discussing what we can learn from it. We do crafts and activities related to the story and appropriate for the age of the children or young people in the class.

We mainly use age appropriate GoTeach teaching materials but sometimes use Scripture Union LifeBuilder Study books for older children.
